Kinderman & Kindertwin: Guestbook

January 25, 2018

I just wanted to say that I saw you many times when I was a teacher at Head Start in Baltimore City, over 20 years ago. After all of these years I still know the words to the Friends and Color song. "When I say red put your hand on your head.." I loved when you came and performed for our children and they loved you as well. Your enthusisam and energy is a gift and I hope you are still spreading your songs in the Baltimore and surrounding area. Hope you are well.

I love, love, love your gift, your energy and message you send to us all! I had the privilege of seeing you in action at two of the Maryland State Child Care Assn. conferences and immediately begin to use your songs in my day care. What a blessing it has been to all the children and to me! The parents love it as well. Thank you, Mr. John Taylor, for using your GOD-given gift that promotes peace, well being, self awareness, multiculturalism, faith, fun and laughter. And it keeps this 60 yr. old in shape too! Thank you and GOD bless.

Well John Taylor,"I'm Very Glad You're Here Today" !!!I graduated Severna Park High in 1972. You were one of the most influential teachers ( Art and otherwise) I ever had! Photo class was a blast! You instilled in me that it was OK to be creative artistically, and that life was supposed to be fun. Thank you so much. I am delighted that you are still jumping up on tables and rolling your eyes for the kids.

Doug Brown

April 24, 2012

Hello John Taylor! So great to see you doing so many wonderful things, just as you did 40+ years ago when I was in your art class for 2 periods my senior year at SPHS (1971). I have told people many times over the years that John Taylor and Aimee Wiest were the two most influential teachers in my school years. Thank you!

Mr. Taylor- You taught me art in Severna Park High School in 1969- 1972- loved you and your class! Everyone who knows me knows how to, "Roll eyes, class!" You would have the class roll their eyes when someone said or did something stupid! I learned so much from you- especially how to have fun and be myself. One the first days in your class you were up on the art table with cheese cloth wrapped around you talking about creativity- and the principal come- you were so funny and I channel you to this day when I get taken by surprise like that. Your classes were my best classes. Thank you- it is great to see that you working with kids now- how fortunate for the children. I am grateful for the time I spent with you.

I brought my neice to your show at the National Theater last Sat. She loved the show and picked up the teaching sheet with the songs, but her baby sister tore the paper up. I looked on your website to see if I could download another one, but didn't see it. How can I get another copy please? If not, we will go to the Columbia show, but I'm not sure it will be the same. She loved your show and songs. Thank you for being such a great influence.

Just recently we started working together again and we were talking about you reminising about the good old day that you were part of that joyful, carefree time of fun, music and teaching. Thanks Kinderman.

Hello Mr. Kinderman~
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed meeting you. Singing and learning with you earlier today at the Michigan Early Childhood Conference was so much fun...a huge blessing for all! God has certainly blessed many educators, parents and children through using you as a tool to teach us all. He gave you a gift and you have spent your life honoring that gift and sharing it with others. I personally thank you from the bottom of my heart for that. Enjoy a blessed year~ I hope we meet again some day. If it can't be in person, than the songs you have left in my heart to be shared with others will remind me everyday "What a Wonderful World" this can be.
Blessings~ Heather Vineyard

Mr. T:
I would never presume that you would remember me. You were my art teacher at Catonsville Jr. High in the early 60's! I just wanted you to know that you are definitely remembered -- very fondly, I might add. I am part of a committee planning our 40th high school reunion -- your name was mentioned at one of our meetings eliciting stories, memories and, of course, smiles! Thank you.

August 23, 2008

Hello - hello - hello

It's been so long since I've written, however I couldn't wait one more day, to let you all know how touched I've been by all of your kind messages. Every time someone writes to me, I get a kick out of the memories that you've been sharing of the shows, or of how I've touched your lives. I'm so glad that I've made a difference for so many children - a difference for some that's lasted a life time. I'm also glad that I've got such loyal fans, friends and family. Without you I'm sure I wouldn't be as happy as I've been all these years. I can't thank you enough.

To all the children who are on their way back to school, be safe, learn a whole lot so that you can be smart, smart, smart & do the right thing no matter what, cause if you do you'll go very far in life.

I love you all!!!

April 3, 2008

Hello Kinderman!

I just want to say Thank You for being such a positive model for all of the kids. I first met you two years ago at Playwise Kids in Columbia and I brought my 7 year old and 2 year old daughters with me to see you. The 7 year old danced, sang and had a great time, but my 2 year old was a little timid and didn't want to leave my side. Funny thing is, when she got home, she started to sing your songs and dance around like crazy.

Now, whenever we see you in passing, we will always stop and greet you with a hug and a smile. Just like your song "FRIENDS", you will always be our friend. Thank you again for blessing us and all the things you do for everyone!

We Love you Kinderman!

Every year I make 2-3 trips to some place around the world.I've traveled to all the continents and to contries and places few have dared to go.I have not found anyone that even approaches the kinderman in the abilty to mesmerize and enthall adults and children on the ideal of learning.Kinderman who sees more children than Santa Claus is indeed a national and international treasure.

We have been using the Kinderman's cd, animals song during our zoo theme... we are wondering is there anyway we could get pictures online of each animal he sings about during that song? we love it and until I make some picture cards to go along with it, we used different stuffed zoo animals to dance with and that worked out great... thanks for the music, it's great. Also, I played this cd for my own children who are 2 and 4 years old ... they loved the kinderman... who wouldn't? thanks again! Theresa
